With the recent closing of Dry Hill MX the Koth Series was looking for another track to add to the series.  They turned to the newly opened Veterans Motocross Park located just outside of Tupelo, MS.  Veterans MX is in nearby Dorsey, MS and sits in the heart of the King of the Hill Series.  Vet MX opened on Labor Day weekend this year and has been having prepped practices almost every weekend since opening.

Owner Alex McDowell was very happy to hear the news, “We are extremely happy that the Koth Series has decided to add us to the fall schedule.  I know we have a lot of work to get done and only a short time to do it, but since making the decision to open this track we have worked night and day to get things done right.  We recently purchased additional land joining the track and are in the process of cleaning it up for additional camping and parking.  We can’t wait for everyone to see what we have here.”  McDowell added, “we hope to have a really nice pro purse for this first race and will be making additional announcements on our website and via Facebook”.

The race will be held on November 18th with the track open for practice on Saturday, November 17th.  This should make for a great weekend of racing with the AX Tour in nearby Batesville, MS.  Surely a lot of people will want to hit both events that weekend.
