MX Down South Track Guide

Alabama – Just a heads up these guys come to race.  We have seen some great crowds at every track we have been to in Alabama.

  • Competition Cycle Ranch
  • DeSoto Motorsport Park – Grand Cane, LA – The track has a mix of sand and clay with a large variety of jumps and turns creating a track that is fun for all leveled riders. It has a couple of pro sections with options for the less experienced riders allowing them to still do small doubles without having to risk the big jumps. The track has about 15 feet of elevation change with gradual sloping hills. All the jumps were made of clay which holds up very well with the exception of the long sand whoop section in the middle of the track. There is also a long 180 degree offcamber turn which challenges even the best of the riders. The start is in the infield which allows all the spectaters to watch witch is allways one of the most exciting parts of the race.
  • Frog Capital MX – Rayne, LA, Main track is 1.1 to 1.6 miles (depending on how we turn it) Outdoor National Style track. Has something for everyone from 50cc to the 4 Stroke Monsters. We are continuously working on our dirt we started with a clay base but all the clay has been covered with a mixture of top soil and mulch makes for a very fun ride with deep ruts in the turns.
