Amateur Spotlight: Sage Lewis

With Loretta’s approaching we thought we would feature some amateur riders over the next few weeks that will be making laps around the famed race track in Hurricane Mills, TN.  We couldn’t think of a better rider to start with than Sage Lewis.  Sage has had a long road to Loretta’s with trips as an alternate on 50’s, 65’s and now has punched his ticket on 85’s.  Sage has long been a contender at national events always running in and around the top ten.  This past year I watched him grab 3 top tens at the Mini O’s and felt like he was going to be on his way to a great season in 2015.  Sage didn’t disappoint either, he grab 3 overall wins at area qualifiers and two top tens at the Spring Classic.  He will definitely be a dark horse to watch in the 85cc 9-11 Limited and 85cc 9-11 class at Loretta’s.  From everyone here at MX Down South we say GOOD LUCK and CONGRATS to Sage.
